The WPBSA have finalised the 16 invitees to the 2016 World Championship Qualifiers which runs from the 6th April to the 13th April at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.

The Invitees include the current World Ladies champion Ng On Lee from Hong Kong who finally got her hands on the title after 10 years of domination by Reanne Evans.

The IBSF and European under 18 and under 21 champions also take their places, along with the runners-up in the under 21 categories.

Below are the invited players from the above federations:

  • Ng On Yee (Hong Kong) - WLBS World Champion
  • Zhao Xintong (China) - IBSF World runner-up
  • Jamie Rhys Clarke (Wales) - IBSF World Under-21 runner-up
  • Ka Wai Cheung (Hong Kong) - IBSF World Under-18 champion
  • Josh Boileau (Ireland) - European Under-21 Champion
  • Brandon Sargeant (England) - European Under-21 runner-up
  • Tyler Rees (Wales) - European Under-18 Champion

World Snooker has also invited players from nations that hosted the European Players Tour events, with the highest players on the ESBA Order of Merit from each country earning a qualification place.
